Naturopathy is a philosophy incorporating a number of therapies which aims to helps the body cure itself.

Naturopaths seek the underlying cause of health problems rather than simply suppressing the symptoms. The body has considerable ability to heal itself and role of the Naturopath is to facilitate this process with the aid of natural, non-toxic therapies.

After identifying the underlying causes of a disease, the Naturopath advises on the methods most appropriate for creating a return to health, and these methods include: diet and nutrition, herbal remedies, massage, hydrotherapy, vitamin and mineral supplementation, osteopathy, yoga, visualisation and meditation.

Naturopathy is practised throughout the Western world, and indeed many of its principles have been adopted by conventional medicine
