Chavutti Thermal

Chavutti Thermal massage forms part of the ancient system of Ayurveda (Indian system of medicine).

This type of massage originates from Southern India, where Kathakali dancers first used it to promote suppleness.

In this unusual type of massage the practitioner hangs onto an overhead rope and uses his/her feet to apply firm, continuous massage strokes to the body, stimulating the body’s energy lines.

It is useful for stimulating the circulation, lymphatic system and digestion.

Treatment is especially useful in treating the following health conditions:
anxiety, back pain, bronchitis, chronic fatigue syndrome, colitis, depression, digestive problems, dysmenorrhoea, endometriosis, headaches, high blood pressure, insomnia, menorrhagia, PMS, stress.
